I first came to Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers complaining of foot pain and was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis.  The pain had affected the way I walked and my posture.  I noticed my stride was odd and not like it typically was.  I had an insert made at a different practice but, had no relief from my pain.  I came back to Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers and Dr. Weiner made me a new and different type of orthotic.  The relief I feel is amazing.  I now have better body alignment.  The pain in my knees and hips is almost completely gone and my foot pain is 100% better.  I notice more improvement almost daily.  Dr. Weiner listened to my concerns and worked with me to find a solution to my pain.

I was referred to Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers by my family physician.  I was x-rayed at my family physician’s office and nothing on the x-ray revealed any issues with my feet.  I knew something was not right though.  So, I persisted and my family physician recommend I see Dr. Weiner.  When I was x-rayed at Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers the x-rays revealed three broken bones. Although scared, I was relieved that the pain was not all in my head.  The staff and doctors of Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers treated me with compassion and heart like I have not received with any other practice.  My concerns mattered to Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers and they were considerate to my emotions and physical needs.  I continue to see the doctors of Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers for other podiatry issues I have.  I would highly recommend Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers to everyone I know.

I was misdiagnosed at another practice at the beginning of January.  I returned to my family physician frustrated and was then referred to Step Lively Foot and Ankle Centers for a second opinion.  From the moment I walked through the front door I knew I was in the right place for the type of treatment and help I needed.  I am not just a number with Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers, rather, I am treated like a family member.  Before I came to this practice I was missing work and missing out of the activities I used to enjoy.  Now, I am back to work and able to enjoy the activities I was missing out on with my friends and family.  I am so glad Dr. Pearlman walked away from being a pharmacist and became a podiatrist.  It would have been a great loss for the medical community if Dr. Pearlman had not gone into podiatry.

From the first contact with Step Lively Foot & Ankle Centers, I knew that I was going to be in "good hands" as they had a “patient comes first attitude".  Dr. Pearlman spent quality time learning about my life style, examining my foot and ankle, and listening to my hiking and jogging time line wish list.  Guess what?   Step Lively came through with flying colors!   Dr. Pearlman and the SLFAC staff teamed together to walk the extra mile for me. The high quality of caring, compassion, and most importantly encouragement, gave me the added incentive to follow Dr. Pearlman's guidelines for resuming my athletic activities.  Being at a stand still when you are athletic can be very discouraging but Dr. Pearlman would take the time to patiently reiterate and make sure that I clearly understood the importance of following his treatment plan. He always had the time and energy to answer my questions.  Without any doubt, his advice and treatment plan worked perfectly.  The Step Lively Staff was there for me 100%, providing me with the most important fundamentals in foot care:  knowing and understanding my related foot issues, consistently caring, communicating, and  encouraging me along the road to recovery.
